Training Options Available for AVImark® Users!
On-LineTraining
Individualized, interactive on-line AVImark® training allows me to put you in the driver’s seat where I will be able to follow you as we go through setting up different sections of the program on your computer. I answer your questions as they arise (we talk on the telephone while we work on-line)…very similar to me being with you in person. Basics as well as advanced topics can be covered.
We can schedule a session at your office with as many staff participating as you want (best to use a speaker phone), or schedule a private session (good for covering sensitive issues) with you, your office manager or a staff member whether at the office or at home…daytime, evenings or weekends, 8 am – 6 pm Pacific Time.
The cost of a 1-hour training session is $50 (plus the cost of the phone call). Due to the complexity of certain topics, at the end of a 1-hour session, if needed, we can immediately continue into additional 1/2-hour sessions or reschedule an hour for a later date.
ONLINE Trainings may usually be booked within a week.
On-Site Training
I firmly believe in hands-on learning and will strive to provide every member of your team an opportunity for one-on-one training. You will need to have your system completely set up and networked properly before the first training day. I do not provide technical support for hardware.
New users: Topics are usually divided between three days of training. The first day introduces beginning level topics with an emphasis on the intermediate and advanced topics necessary for proper program setup. The second and third days are split between covering intermediate/advanced topics with specific individuals responsible for particular areas, and general staff training. I cover all of the topics necessary for you to getup & running with a full comprehension of AVImark’s capabilities.
Experienced users: Topics are determined by each clinic to create their own personalized training based on need & experience.
My fee for training is $700 per day plus travel expenses (i.e. airfare via Orange County (SNA), hotel, car rental & fuel, toll fees, and travel days are billed at $150/day).
I typically book ON-SITE trainings 1 to 3 months in advance.
Seminars
Seminars are offered several times each year and are held in Newport Beach, CA at the Balboa Yacht Club. BYC is located on Newport Harbor with spectacular views. Fashion Island - a premier shopping experience, Balboa Island - with quaint little shops, and miles of beach are all a short 5-10 minute drive from the Yacht Club, depending on which direction you take.
Each attendee receives a detailed seminar guide. Seminar presentations are conducted via laptop projection. Attendees should be familiar with the following:
- Entering Clients, Patients & Medical History in AVImarkâ
- Printing Invoices in AVImarkâ
- Creating and using Microsoft Word documents
